Filipino Act bags 1st AGT tilt
Filipino pride, El Gamma Penumbra bagged the title of first ever Asia's Got Talent, May 14. The shadow play group was from Tanawan, Batangas and one of the four Filipino acts in AGT. They first joined Pilipinas Got Talent but was only second place so they decided to take it on a higher level and so they joined AGT. During their audition, Indonesian singer and one of the AGT judges, Anggun, pressed her golden button, automatically sending the group to the semi-finals. They continued to awe both viewers and judges with their touching performance on Mother Earth during the competition's grand finals. Thus, winning over hearts of viewers and making them first ever Asia's Got Talent Grand Winner. Their total prize is $100,000 which is equivalent to 4.4 million pesos.
