Once Upon a Dream

Every child's dream is to have a complete family. But what if, one day, this dream was taken away from you? What if, one day, you wake up you don't have your father by your side anymore?

Have you ever wondered what it's like living without a father? You may not know but me? I've lived 13 years without him. And I loathe him for letting this happen to me.

I was only a little girl that time. Of course, what do I know? I only care about my Barbie dolls and teddy bears. I never knew the reason why my parents kept yelling at each other. I was clueless of what was happening around me.

But then, I thought everything was alright because whenever they showed in front of me, they look so in love. They look like some teenagers who were madly deeply in love with each other. They showed up and smiled like nothing is happening.

However, I was wrong. They have only been pretending to look okay so that they won't affect me. They pretended to be okay for my sake. But I guess, it never worked out until it came to a point where me and my mom went home to my grandparents.

Meanwhile, as we were living in the care of my grandparents, my father was left and there he met a woman that would change, ruin and destroy his family forever.
